Easter-Tango-Workshop in the Swiss alps
April 2nd - 4th 1999
4 days of tango, ski, sun, fun and snow in the legendary Hotel
Schatzalp in Davos, Switzerland.
To keep the atmosphere simple and friendly there is a limit of 15
couples who can join the "club". The costs will
depend on the number of attendances. (Example: 620.- SFr per
person if it's booked out, 870.- SFR. per person if
we are only 5 couples). Included are 2 hrs tango-lesson a day,
indoor swimmingpool, sauna, etc., bed, breakfast,
five-courses-dinner and the rides on a private cable-car from the
village up to the hotel. Excluded are the
ski-lift-tickets, the drinks you're going to have at the
hotelbar, etc.
The Hotel Schatzalp (*****) is famous for its luxurious "art
nouveau" architecture and for having hosted the great
german writer Thomas Mann, who is said to have written here his
novel "Der Zauberberg".
Davos is one of the most famous skiing-resorts of Switzerland.
There are innoumerous wintersport-possibillities
(sking, ice-skating, a "night-sledge-run", etc, etc).
If you're bored of tango and snow you still have the
"Kirchner-Museum" where you find an exhibition of the
works of the art-group "Der Blaue Reiter".
Tango-teachers are Nina and Manuel.
Manuel is dancing for more than 10 years, Nina joined him five
years ago.
